HOW TO USE

Step 1

Prep your skin for treatment Cleanse, shave and gently towel dry your target area.

Step 2 Choose the level best suited to you Your Tria device has 3 different settings for higher and lower frequencies. We recommend to start low initially and work your way up to a higher setting if you feel you need.

Step 3 Choose an area to begin Hold your new device against your chosen area until you hear a beep. After each beep lift and place in a new treatment area. For top notch, silky smooth and hair free results ensure to use your device every 2 weeks for 3 months.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Which areas can I treat with the Tria Precision?

The Precision can be used on the whole body but is designed to be used on the face, underarms and bikini line.

2. How often do I have to charge the Tria Precision?

We would advise to charge the Tria Precision for two hours before treatment or anytime the battery is empty.

3. How long does the charge last? The charge lasts approximately 15-20 minutes depending on the strength setting of the laser.

This is more than enough time to treat smaller areas.

4. Do I need the Tria SmoothStart Calming Gel?

We recommend the Tria SmoothStart Calming Gel before and after your Tria treatment to soothe the skin as some users can experience reddening of the skin or tingling afterwards.

5. Does it have different strength levels?

The Tria Precision has 3 strength settings.

DO NOT USE the Tria Laser Precision if your skin tone matches one listed as “Not Safe” on the Skin Tone Chart on the inside front cover of this booklet. If you use the Tria Laser Precision on skin “Not Safe” for treatment, the skin may absorb too much laser light and be injured (burned, discolored, or scarred). DO NOT USE the Tria Laser Precision if you are under the age of 18 or use it on anyone else under the age of 18. The use of the Tria Laser Precision on or by children has not been studied and could result in serious injury. DO NOT USE the Tria Laser Precision if you have a lighter hair color, such as blonde, white, red or grey. In order for the laser to work, you must have naturally dark hair where you are treating. Lighter hair pigments will not absorb enough of the laser's energy to disable the hair follicle. If you are using medication that increases light sensitivity, please consult a doctor before using this device.

Happy with the Result

I've been using it for the last 2 years and am very happy with the substantial hair reduction. I strictly followed the instruction of treatment every 2 weeks in the 1st year. After that, I only needed to treat about once every quarter for just a few hairs that grow back. My skin tone is pale-beige and hair color is brown-black.

Good product,nice design

This took about three to four treatments for hair to fall out but it has worked !it's getting rid of my stubborn chin hairs that have been a problem since menopause .I used highest level, no discomfort.Really happy. Thanks

Good overall

Good device for home use, but the laser seems to have a weaker effect than the effect you get in an aesthetic clinic which is expected. Safety wise I'd give it 5/5. Sometimes it doesn't start easily I'm not sure why, I'm afraid it will stop working as I previously read reviews that this device had stopped working before it's expected expiry age, I think I will have to wait and see.

It has 3 settings/strength and I was impressed that the 2nd and 3rd settings are actually quite powerful and a test is a good idea before using it because you can end up burning your face!

A downside, is that the rounded application part at the top can heat up significantly and stays hot which I found quite painful even when the device doesn't (ignite) any laser energy. You will need to use ice or a cold air current with the device to avoid a burn.

Ergonomics is excellent, I love the design and it's very easy to hold and apply anywhere on the body. It's also lightweight which is perfect for travel.

I gave results a score of 3 but I'm using the 1st only until now and have just decided to step up. I noticed the hair growth is less overall, but the stubborn thick hairs probably need higher setting.

Doesn’t hold a charge well

I like the size of the device. Still too early to tell if it is working, I’ve only had it for a month. It doesn’t seem to hold a charge well and goes completely dead between uses. Less painful than my older handheld IPL. Charging cable seems to be made for a European outlet.
