Step 1: Prep your hair with a heat protection spray ensuring it is evenly spread throughout.
Step 2: Working in sections, wrap a piece of hair around the barrel - away from your face. Hold in place. The tightness of your curl will depend on the thickness of the section that you’re working with.
Step 3: Repeat all over.
Styling tips
Top tip 1: Curl the hair away from your face for the first few sections. Then, alternate the curl direction to add more texture.
Top tip 2: Using smaller sections will create a tighter curl. Bigger sections will create looser curls.
Top tip 3: Depending on the look you’re after, use a brush or your fingers to comb through and loosen your curls.
