WHAT IS PERCUSSIVE THERAPY?
Theragun Percussive Therapy is massage reinvented®. Therabody’s percussive therapy devices are scientifically calibrated to reach deep into the muscles and stimulate heat and blood flow, helping to bring oxygen in and flush toxins out, essentially hydrating the muscles back to health. Percussive therapy works 60% deeper than consumer-grade vibration massagers by using a unique scientifically-calibrated combination of depth, speed, and force.
WHY IT WORKS
The Theragun Mini device features a 12mm amplitude which allows the vibrations and pulses to reach deeper into your muscles. As it does, blood flow is stimulated feeding essential oxygen into your cells and removing any waste product. MAKE IT PERSONAL
The Theragun Mini comes with 3 speed varieties - 1750, 2100 and 2400 PPMs - so you can personalise your treatment and recovery. Simply choose which speed setting you prefer and where on the body you want to treat, and enjoy a tailored massage.
SMART DESIGN
The Standard Ball attachment is made from a non-porous, closed-cell foam which doesn’t absorb sweat, oil or creams. This makes it easy-to-clean and hygienic.
As well as this, the patented triangle design means you don’t have to strain or tense when using the device - making the entire experience comfortable and effective. Built for portability, the Mini fits in the palm of your hand and weighs less than 1.5lbs too.
IT'S AS SIMPLE AS
Turn the device on - without making contact with your body. Choose your preferred speed setting and simply float the Theragun over your body, gradually applying light to moderate pressure as needed. Press the power/speed button to toggle between 3 speeds and ensure the attachment is making perpendicular contact with the skin. To turn off the Theragun mini, firmly press and hold the power/speed button until the device shuts off.
THE THERABODY STORY
In 2007, Dr. Jason Wersland, founder of Theragun, got into a traumatic motorcycle accident. The accident left him in debilitating muscle and nerve pain, and nothing he tried seemed to help. He tried treating his injuries with vibration therapy and, when that didn’t work, he began his search for a handheld device that provided the deep muscle relief he needed. Dr. Jason was looking for an effective natural solution, and he couldn’t find one that he could use on himself in the sea of technological devices at his chiropractic office. He didn’t know it at the time, but he was about to create the world’s first version of what was to become the Theragun Percussive Therapy device.
