An introduction to Unipolar

Radio frequency devices are typically categorised as being either Unipolar (Monopolar) or Bipolar. Most home devices are Bipolar. Orlaya Skin, on the other hand, harnesses Unipolar which is used in most salon-standard radio frequency machines.

Unipolar devices use one electrode as opposed to two. This helps the radio frequency to travel deeper into the skin, directly penetrating downwards to the targeted area and providing long-lasting results.

How does it work?

This Orlaya Skin device is powered by 40.68MHz radio frequency technology. It works by sending low power beams deep into the skin’s dermis layer to accelerate the natural production of collagen. An increase in collagen causes the collagen fibres to be remodelled, leading to tighter and suppler skin.

Not only are signs of ageing reversed but they can also be postponed.

How to use

Step 1: Attach one of the handsets to your Orlaya Skin device. The small one is ideal for around the eyes and mouth, whereas the bigger one can be used to treat the rest of your face.

Step 2: Apply a generous layer of DermaDeep Serum over the treatment area.

Step 3: Choose a power level.

Step 4: Press and release the button on the handset to activate radio frequency.

Step 5: Move the handset slowly in small circular motions.

Step 6: Once you’ve heated the skin to the temperature that’s comfortable for you, repeat the process over the whole treatment area.

Step 7: Turn off the device and remove any excess serum from your face and the device.

Step 8: Cleanse your face and follow up with your favourite moisturiser.

Use this device for its intended purpose only, as described in this user manual. This is an electrical device. To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury from electric shock:

Do not touch the device should it fall into water. Unplug immediately with dry hands.

Use your device in a ventilated room, placed on a hard surface so that the device doesn’t overheat.

Turn the Orlaya Skin device OFF and then UNPLUG power supply from electrical outlet immediately after use or before cleaning and maintenance.

Don’t open the casing or disassemble the device.

When plugged in, never leave device unattended. • If disassembled, do not use device.

Do not operate device if electric cord is damaged.

Keep out of reach of children.

Hands must be completely dry when operating device • The appliance is only to be used with the detachable power supply unit provided by the manufacturer.

The appliance should not be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.

Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

You MUST always use a conductive agent between your skin and the device, we recommend that you use DermaDeep Serum® which has been designed specifically for use with the Orlaya Skin device. The serum is for external use only. Failure to follow the instructions described in this manual may cause damage or burns to your skin.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

DO NOT USE 21Skin® device if any of the following apply to you or if you are unsure:

Under 16 years of age.

Pregnant or nursing.

If you have temporary or permanent dermal fillers, please consult your doctor before using Orlaya Skin.

Have a pacemaker.

Have an internal defibrillator.

A skin condition within treatment area, such as sores, psoriasis, eczema, or rash.

Have metal implants in treatment area (not dental fillings).

Skin cancer or pre-malignant moles.

Severe concurrent conditions such as cardiac disorders.

Impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS.

Using immunosuppressive medications.

Any diseases stimulate by heat, such as recurrent Herpes Simplex (within the treatment area).

History of keloid scarring, abnormal wound healing or fragile skin.

Any surgical procedure, laser resurfacing or deep chemical peeling within the treatment area in past 3 months or still undergoing a process of complete healing.

Current use of medications, herbal preparations, vitamins or food supplements that may cause fragile or dry skin.

Fever, infection, inflammation, acute dermatitis, open wounds, recent Scars, or any serious and/or progressive illness.

For patients with a prolonged use of medications (anti inflammatories, anticoagulants, antibiotics, and antihistamines), please consult your doctor before using this device.

Never use Orlaya Skin on jewellery or piercings.

Very good for brightening and plumping lower face

I purchased this in April/May but only managed to consistently use this every 3 days for the past 6 weeks. I am 45 years old and have oriental skin. I have had an Ultraformer 3 ultrasound treatment 2 months prior so it is hard to distinguish if this has any lifting effect. I think it does well for maintenance if you've had other treatments. It does plump the skin especially the nasolabial folds and lips. The lines have reduced significantly. It took around 4 weeks to notice this. I found that it makes my skin glow after every use. I alternate between using the CurrentBody RF gel and the Orlaya RF gel. The CurrentBody RF gel is more economical if you are using this intensively for the first 8 weeks and you dont need to use that much. Several reviews mentioned that the large attachment head (for the face and neck) takes longer to warm up. I have had this same problem and am currently using the smaller attachment head for my entire face which heats up almost immediately. I would recommend using this at night as my face gets a little pink afterwards. I use hyaluronic acid and a moisturiser after the treatment. I love this machine and have stopped using the ZIIP as I don't think I need to use both (well not whilst i am using the Orlaya every 3 days).

The machine will not overheat as much if you prop it up at 45 degrees with some face cloths folded up underneath the middle of the device.

good result

I used the device as advertised. After 8 weeks I actually had the feeling of a positive change. I tolerated it very well. It's even comfortable and you just look fresh afterwards. I think it's good for women who don't have the time or nerve to go to beauty salons. Of course, it does not remove wrinkles and is also not a facelift. But the face looks more awake again, more even, chin and mouth area better defined, eye area firmer. I am really very satisfied and hope that the device will last a long time.

Orlaya rf pro

Excellent Device

I received the Orlaya DermaDeep RF Pro in January 2022. In my case, it took about 10 weeks to see significant results. I am 57 and perhaps had 3 botox sessions in my life--my skin is not prone to wrinkles but I did have medium depth glabella lines and with the use of the Orlaya these lines have disappeared by 80%. The same applies to the tiny small vertical lines above my lips. Regarding sagging in the jaw area there is a positive improvement but it is less noticeable to the naked eye.

The device tends to overheat by the end of a 30 minutes treatment yet the easy solution is to hold the box in one hand for the last 10 minutes.

I am happy with the easy-to-use device and the results and I do recommend it.
